Why the Program Works
It is a proven fact that muscle takes up less space than fat. We also know that the more muscle you have, the more efficiently your body can shed excess fat.

We concentrate heavily on strength training: upper torso, lower torso and abdominal muscles. Did you know that strong abdominal muscles also mean a stronger back? People may think they have a “bad” or “weak” back, when in reality they have weak or underdeveloped abdominal muscles.

This program is not heavily based on weight, but is more about inches lost, personal goals and a healthy self-image. Some individuals in this program have lost substantial weight, others have lost inches, and all have gained greater self- image. This is not a miracle program and there are no guarantees. You will be handed the tools and shown how to use them. It is entirely up to you what you build with them.


Class Times
PT Sessions run in 4 week sessions and meet twice a week 60 minutes per class.

What to Expect
The first class will be the longest. On the first date of the session all PT 1 students will be measured, weighed and body fat tested and need to arrive 20 min. prior to start time. This is optional for PT 2 students. AM PT students plan on staying an extra 45 min after class on the first day for a PT orientation seminar. PM PT 1 students should arrive 45 min early for their PT orientation.

Each class will consist of 60 min of upper and lower torso strength training plus stretching, as well as abdominal strength training and stretching.

We strongly recommend you eat some protein one hour before this class (tuna, peanut butter, cottage cheese, etc.). We must start class on time, so please be prompt to insure you get the necessary warm-up. We strongly recommend that you attend 3 Jazzercise classes during the week…you will benefit greatly from the combination of strength training and aerobic workouts!

Food
We recommend eliminating sugar and caffeine from your diet for the first two weeks of the program and consuming no more than 30 grams of fat per day. Please remember that nutrition is 50% of this program. You will not get results if you do not eat right.

Equipment Required
Provided at the center: Floor mats, resist-a-balls,
3 lb. weights and resistance tubes.

Equipment you need to provide:
5 & 8 lb. weights, leg weights.
